This function can be used to create a date value from a text.

Syntax: $parseDate(dateString[,format[,timeZone]])
Parameter
Description
dateStringThe date to be parsed as text.
formatThe format to be used for parsing. If not specified, then the format from localization is used.
timeZoneThe time zone of the parsed date. If not specified, then the timezone of the user is used.
Returns the parsed date or NULL.
Example: $parseDate(2020-04-01,yyyy-MM-dd) – returns 01.04.2020 as a date with time.
