You must have created a version 3 template, direction “Outbound”, to create a new request. In the "Outbound" section, select a group that contains such a template and click the right mouse button for the context menu. Select Create new message request (CC2).
Another dialogue opens.
In the new message, the basic settings of the used template are adopted in tab Message (7).
Use the context menu (2) in tab Files (1) to add a new file. Another dialogue will open. Click on (4) in tab Overview (3) to add a file. You can specify only a file name or upload a file from the local computer (via button or drag and drop) (optionally as a ZIP archive or GZIP file). Note: If you attach a file in ZIP or GZIP format (i.e. if the ENGDAT module should do this for you), all related fields will automatically be set after the upload.
Tab Links (5) allows you to specify links (via the context menu) from this file to other added files (LOF segment).
The subarea Container of the area Files (1) can only be used for Conformance Class 3 and describes files that are contained in this file (e.g. sub drawings that are contained in this CAD file).
Tab External links (6) allows you to specify links to previous ENGDAT messages.
