The search API is used in Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration any time entities have to be found.
It can be described via XML, which can be created by means of the UI tool Search builder or also graphically.
The search is basically divided into 4 different result types:
Search – yields the entire entity that was searched for.
Partial search – returns at least the required characteristics of the searched for entity.
Tuple search – yields a flat list of Glossar, defined in the search as typified XML.
CSV search – returns a flat list of Glossar, defined in the search as CSV.
