After your Lobster Cloud environment has been provisioned, you receive your access credentials via email. This page explains how the credential delivery works, how to log in for the first time, and how to access the Lobster Data Platform.
Receiving your credentials
Your login credentials are delivered in two separate emails from cloudportal@lobster.de for security reasons:

The credentials are auto-generated during system provisioning. No Lobster employee has access to your password.
Important information

Whitelist the sender | Add cloudportal@lobster.de to your email whitelist before installation. If this address is blocked by your spam filter, you will not receive your credentials. |
Change your password immediately | Change the initial password immediately after the first login on all systems and the associated admin consoles. |
Do not share credentials | The initial credentials are intended for your designated administrator. Set up additional user accounts through the Lobster Data Platform after your first login. |
Logging in

2 | Navigate to the system URL provided in your first email. The URL uses HTTPS on Port 443. |
3 | Enter the username from your first email and the password from your second email. |
4 | Change the initial password immediately after the first login. |
No VPN connection or special software is required to access the Lobster Data Platform. The web interface is accessible from any standard web browser over the internet.
Important
Please keep your changed password in a safe place. For fresh installations, the password can be reset by opening a ticket at support@lobster.de. If your system is already in operation, a password reset is not possible.
Multiple users
Multiple users can work in the Lobster Data Platform simultaneously. User management and role assignments are configured within the platform by your administrator. Lobster does not manage user accounts within the platform.
Troubleshooting

Cannot access the system URL | Verify that your corporate firewall allows outbound HTTPS traffic on Port 443 to the Lobster Cloud. |
Forgot password | Lobster does not have access to your password. Use the password reset function in the platform or contact support@lobster.de for assistance. |
