This section provides you with a comprehensive introduction to Lobster Cloud, the fully managed hosting environment for your Lobster Data Platform. Lobster Cloud is a standardized Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lobster manages the complete infrastructure for you, including servers, databases, networking, security, monitoring, and backups. Your Lobster Cloud environment is a dedicated, isolated system provisioned exclusively for your organization. The platform is fully compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swiss data protection legislation, and is certified according to ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27018 and ISO 9001.

Lobster Cloud is available in four editions: ENTER, SCALE, ACCELERATE and TRANSFORM. Each edition is designed for a specific business scale and availability requirement. The TRANSFORM edition includes the High Availability architecture as standard. SCALE and ACCELERATE customers can optionally migrate to the High Availability architecture at additional cost.
