The Transport Manager allows the transfer of profiles, partners, Content Inspectors, ASM entries, Data Flow entries, constants and configuration files to another installation.
NOTE You can define some default values in configuration file ./etc/admin/datawizard/defaults.properties. All possible keys are already in the file and their values only need to be set or changed.
The transfer direction always goes from the system that calls the Transport Manager (source system) to another system (target system). The target system is defined when logging in to the Transport Manager. The versions of both systems must always be within the same major release, e.g. 4.0.0 and 4.1.0. Versions 3.5.4 and 4.0.0 would not work. In the latter case, you have to carry out the transfer manually via export and import:

Logs can be found under "./logs/Transportmanager". The retention period is 60 days.
